A smile is the most precious jewelry anyone can wear. Many people are not satisfied with the look of their teeth and want a change. Our clinic tries to give everyone the perfect smile. That is why dental aesthetics are important to us. Fortunately, modern dental techniques help us, so we can shape, form and make our patients' smiles more beautiful.

Metal-free zirconium or e.max press ceramic crowns

We need to make a crown if the tooth is so bad that the filling is no longer enough, and a bridge is needed to fill the adjacent gaps. Zirconium and e.max press ceramic crowns are aesthetically well ahead of metal ceramic crowns.

This type of crown is mainly made for front teeth, incisors and canines. However, more and more people are also demanding it to cover molar (grinding) teeth due to their BIO functions and resistance. Like natural teeth, it allows light to pass through, and only ceramics meet the edge of the gums.

It is also the perfect solution for patients who are allergic to metal. A significant number of patients choose these crowns due to their natural effect and light transmittance, which rivals that of natural teeth.

The e.max crown is slightly more aesthetic than zirconium, which, however, is more future-proof, so in our clinic the doctor and the patient decide together what material to use for the crown.

Metal ceramic crowns

For covering the teeth, we often use a metal crown covered with ceramics, since it is easy to clean, aesthetic, resistant and relatively inexpensive. Although today most patients choose zirconium crowns, they are still a good solution for covering the back molars. Nowadays, we prefer to work with a chromium-cobalt alloy to avoid possible allergic reactions.

Ceramic cover

To correct the minor colour and shape deficiencies of the teeth e.max thin shells made of press ceramics are glued to the surface of the teeth. We often need to remove 0.5 millimeters from the surface of the enamel of the teeth, however, it happens that the ceramic shell can be glued to the intact tooth enamel without grinding.

Laser teeth whitening

It is well known that over time the teeth become discoloured because of smoking, various coloring foods and certain medications.

Colouring foods include coffee, carbonated soft drinks, tea and red wine. With the help of a laser, bleaching after professional tooth cleaning, which depends on the sensitivity and discoloration of the teeth (this is a 45-minute operation), or the bleaching material is placed in the transparent rail produced in the lab, which the patient must wear at home for 5 days.

Since the bleaching agent is still on the teeth and producing its effect, during this period it is advisable to avoid the consumption of coloring foods, as well as citrus drinks, which can trigger the sensitivity of the teeth.

Dental jewellery

This intervention is the kind of decoration of the teeth which is the least drastic way to transform the smile. Without damaging the enamel of the tooth, the popular Swarovski tooth jewellery is glued to it.

Since it is applied by gluing, the tooth jewellery can be easily removed or replaced according to the patient's request. This operation takes about 15 minutes, and the tooth jewellery usually stays on the surface of the tooth for about half a year, but some last for several years.
